Development at Jimmy Makes Things is built around three core values: innovation, efficiency and speed.

Innovation

Our choice of technologies places focus on innovation. We are innovators and disruptors. In order to disrupt we continually adopt or throw away technologies as they come and go. Whether they become obsolete in the near future is not important, our thirst to learn and practice new findings means we are always one step ahead of our competitors.

Efficiency and Speed

Our focus on efficiency and speed has meant adopting JavaScript in all aspects of development. We focus on becoming great JavaScript developers, rather than experts in very specific frameworks. By adopting JavaScript across the board it means less resourcing headaches - all developers are full-stack.

PROCESS

We follow an Agile approach with our product delivery, working in weekly sprints where we set out tasks that we can deliver to the client once a week for the duration of the project. We deliver a build to you on Monday, you provide feedback by Wednesday, and we send a new build the following Monday with new work as well as the changes you’ve requested. We’re all hands on deck, because we believe that the best products come from a multitude of opinions and frequent and open collaboration, and as such, our product manager, designer and developers meet with our clients regularly.

ideas

My ideas are inspired by the trends in technology. In this website you can find out how I'm getting inspiration, who I support and from where I learn this. Visit my LinkedIn profile page to see my certifications from Lynda.com, Facebook Blueprint and more.
